Rental and Services Fee Waiver for Wang Fuk Court Residents

Jockey Club “age at home” Gerontech Education and Rental Service has identified that the affected residents from Taipo Wang Fuk Court have moved to temporary accommodation and some of them are in urgent need of assistive equipment to support their daily living and home safety. To alleviate their significant financial burden during this critical time, we will waive the rental fees for assistive equipment, assessment fees, and delivery fees for a period of six months for the residents in need.
Terms and Conditions (T&C)
- Each affected resident is eligible for the complimentary rental of a maximum of two (2) pieces of equipment for a period of six (6) months. An evaluation will be conducted after the initial six months to determine the need for extension. All associated assessment and transportation fees will be waived.
- The applicant must be a verified resident of Taipo Wang Fuk Court and must provide the contact details of the social worker assigned to the household (one social worker per household) to enable our team to contact them for verification.
- Users must provide personal information for system record and follow-up purposes. This information will be kept confidential.
- The complimentary rental is for essential assistive equipment only (e.g., mobility aids, safety equipment). The specific equipment available under this initiative will be determined by our rental service team.
- The resident is responsible for the proper use and general maintenance of the equipment and must sign a standard rental agreement, even if the fee is waived. Any loss or irreparable damage to the equipment may incur a replacement fee.
- This waiver initiative is subject to the availability of our equipment stock. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
