Workshop – “Smart Vision: Coping with Visual Impairment in Elderly with Gerontechnology”

The Jockey Club “age at home” Gerontech Education and Rental Service Centre is now holding an exhibition with the theme of “Intelligent Inclusive, Enhanced Vision and Hearing” to exhibits various equipment designed to support the elderly with visual and hearing impairments. We welcome all who are interested to join.
The up-coming workshop will be the "Smart Vision: Coping with Visual Impairment in Elderly with Gerontechnology" workshop. This workshop will be led by occupational therapists who will explain and discuss the daily challenges faced by the elderly with visual impairment. Also, in the workshop, participants will explore how gerontechnology and skills can assist the elderly in overcoming difficulties in their daily activities. In addition, representatives from Barrier Free Access (HK) Limited will share how they utilise technology to aid elderly individuals with visual impairment.
