“Intelligent Inclusive, Enhanced Vision and Hearing” Mini-exhibition

Jockey Club "age at home" Gerontech Education and Rental Service Centre is now holding "Intelligent Inclusive, Enhanced Vision and Hearing" mini-exhibition to explore the daily difficulties faced by the elderly with deteriorating hearing and vision, and provide corresponding solutions. The exhibition reveals various challenges such as communication difficulties and reduced independence, and introduces how to improve the quality of life for the elderly through Gerontechnology and communication skills. The topics include:

- Signs and symptoms of hearing loss
- Communication difficulties faced by the elderly
- Impact of reduced independence on the lives of the elderly
- Application of Gerontechnology and communication skills in improving quality of life
- Sharing the challenges in the daily lives of elderly with vision loss
- Help of Gerontechnology and life skills for the elderly to cope with difficulties

The exhibition also displays various aging technology equipment to support the elderly in coping with hearing and vision loss. We are committed to creating safe, comfortable and convenient smart home environments, which can help the elderly better self-care, make it easier for them to participate in daily activities, increase participation, and also relieve caregivers' stress.
